FEE STRUCTURE
Extraordinary Education operates as a non-profit cooperative. Our prices are very reasonable when compared to other instructional programs such as dance, karate or music lessons. When registering, please be aware of the following fees and conditions. Please read the information below this section for additional information and explanation regarding our fees.
PLEASE NOTE that our fee structure has changed for the Fall 2010 semester. Co-op service is no longer a requirement, although many co-op positions will still be available for those families who want or need a tuition discount. Extraordinary Education could not continue to operate without the valuable contributions of our co-op parents. They are the heart of our ministry!
Registration Fees: All classes and on-going activities require a Registration Fee. Starting Fall 2010 all classes will require a Registration Fee equivalent to 10% of the total class Tuition. The remaining tuition may be paid in nine monthly installments due August-April. Most other activities will require a Registration Fee of $25/student per semester. A Registration Fee is required for all classes and activities and is considered to be part of the class tuition. A Registration Fee is required to hold a child's spot in a class. Registration Fees are non-refundable.
Tuition Fees: All classes have an associated Tuition Fee in addition to the Registration Fee.
Multi-Class Discount: A discount of $5/month ($50/class per year or $25/class per semester) will apply when the same student is enrolled in 3 or more classes. A few classes are not eligible for a tuition discount. This information will be noted in the class description.

Supply Fees & Book Fees: All classes have an associated Supply Fee. These fees will vary depending on the class and are due EACH SEMESTER. See below for more information. Supply Fees and Book Fees (if any) are shown in the class description of each class. Supply Fees are non-refundable.
Co-op Commitment:
2010-2011 Academic Year: Co-op service is longer a requirement for participation in EE classes, although many co-op positions are still available for those families who want or need a tuition discount. We rely heavily on co-op parents to help our program operate, but we also realize that many parents are unable to participate in this way.
Various co-op staff positions are available throughout the day on a first-come/first-serve basis, and ALL positions earn tuition credit.
Study Hall/Fellowship Hall
Study Hall includes all class periods in which a student is not enrolled in a class. These free periods are supervised by co-op staff members.
ALL students must be enrolled in Study Hall during ANY period they are on campus and not attending a class. This applies whether or not the parent is on site. This policy is in place to ensure the safety of all of our students and to minimize disruptions to classes.
Students are allowed to enroll in ONE Study Hall for each THREE Classes in which the student is enrolled. A student may be enrolled in no more than two hours of Study Hall per day, and the two hours may not be back to back.
There will be a $5/month Study Hall Fee for each HOUR that the student is enrolled in Study Hall. Parents may choose for their child to attend either “Study Hall” or “Fellowship Hall” during free periods. Students in Study Hall are expected to bring something to study quietly. Students will also be allowed to play board games, card games, chess, etc. or play with Legos or read quietly.
Use of hand-held electronic games, phones or computer games is NOT ALLOWED in Study Hall.
Computers may be used in Study Hall for teacher approved or parent approved ASSIGNMENTS ONLY.
